Job Title: Yard Operative/Counter Sales
Location: Croydon
Salary: Dependant on experience
Job type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00am to 5.00pm
The Company, a well-established building merchants who’ve been going for over 100 years, are currently looking for a Yard Worker/Counter Sales to assist customers and help maintain their busy yard and assist with counter sales at the trade counter.
The Role:
Your duties will include serving customers in the busy builder’s merchant yard and trade counter. This will involve manually loading and unloading materials, checking deliveries of goods are correct, ensuring that the materials are stored safely as well as raising sales orders/invoices at the counter and taking payments.
Additional day to day duties:
- FLT work
- Maintain Yard areas
- Raising computer sales orders
The Candidate:
- FLT Licence would be advantageous
- Ability to prioritise and multi task
- Organisational skills
- Problem solving abilities
- Flexibility and dedication
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Health and Safety awareness
- Be comfortable with outdoor working
- Manual handling abilities
