Job Title: Workshop Operative
Location: Huntingdon, PE29 6WR

They’re a UK-based company with subsidiary operations in the USA, France, Germany and China. The Company supplies materials which are used for research, development and specialised manufacturing applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operation of traditional and conventional engineering machinery e.g.
- Centre lathes
- Power guillotines
- Hydraulic disc punch
- Milling machines
- Update computer system relating to Production orders such as materials used and production time taken
- Prioritising workload
- Dealing with queries that arise with bespoke items
- Ensuring customer specifications are met by correct identification of required materials
- Use of precision measuring equipment to tight tolerances
- Following instructions and training on machines and equipment
- Any other responsibilities for the necessary fulfilment of the role

- Must have prior experience using conventional engineering machinery

Hours:
This is a full time post of 37.5 hours per week worked at agreed times between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, although the company does operate a flexitime system.
