We are looking currently looking for a Wellbeing Adviser to join our supportive and strategic People & Culture Team on a permanent contract.
The successful candidate will be resourceful and innovative with the ability to communicate effectively with, and support, a range of stakeholders.
As the Wellbeing Advisor you will support the Head of Talent & Culture (HoTC) in driving the wellbeing agenda throughout the organisation, as well as linking in with other People & Culture colleagues and wider departments to ensure a collaborative approach. You will work closely with line managers and our pool of wellbeing ambassadors to cultivate the wellbeing offer and support that is available for all employees of Migrant Help.

As the Wellbeing Adviser your duties would include:
- Utilise a range of tools to create, share and inform on the wellbeing support that is available to all employees including creation of a Wellbeing Portal that will store information for all aspects of wellbeing and signpost to external resources.
- Draft communication materials relating to wellbeing updates, a calendar of focus, and relevant campaigns, and promotion of available resources including our EAP.
- Deliver engaging communications to promote wellbeing by working with the HoTC, the Organisational Development (OD) Manager, and the Comms Team as required.
- Create feedback loops to identify employee and manager need for wellbeing toolkits then align the portal with relevant content and templates as necessary.
- Monitor, record and report on feedback and data of wellbeing initiatives to inform the development of our wellbeing strategy and the employee experience (EX).
- Introduce the Wellness Action Plan (WAP) process and heart-centred behaviours to managers through coaching and training through working with the OD team to ensure alignment with learning and development protocols and systems.
- Support the Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) with their wellbeing and regularly engage with the pool of Wellbeing Ambassadors by attending relevant meetings to showcase our wellbeing offer and ensure co-production opportunities.
- Support on the design and delivery of any wellbeing workshops, webinars and awareness-raising events in conjunction with the OD team and the HoTC.
The experience and skills you need:
- A general understanding of legislation and best practice in this area, including EDI
- Able to balance a pragmatic approach with a coaching and supportive relationship.
What else to expect:
- The role may require travel to other offices and events which will be expensed.
- Occasionally training or meetings are organised outside of normal working hours. The post holder will be expected to attend whenever reasonably practicable.
