Job Title: Web & Mobile UI/UX Frontend Designer
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: £24,000 – £32,500 per annum, depending on experience
Position: Full Time, Permanent (9:00 – 5:30, Monday – Friday)

They are looking for a Web & Mobile Designer with a strong background in interface design to play a key role in the development of their flagship software platform.

This is a permanent role, designing the UI and UX interfaces and flows for their web and mobile based personnel management platform software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design the UI of their new web and Android platform from storyboarding and wireframing through to producing HTML/CSS code
- Respect the design of the existing version, whilst making improvements to both the UI and UX
- Work closely with the existing members of the development team, based in Egypt
- Translate your designs into HTML/CSS code and work with other web developers to help integrate this into the vue.js application
- Ensure that all code is compliant with best practises, accessibility standards, etc.
- Contribute to developing coding standards and documentation for a development team that is in a growth phase
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years experience of designing interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Experience with a modern design application such as Sketch or Figma
- Strong experience of writing HTML & CSS
- A good understanding of user interface and interaction design
- Experience of vue.js is desirable, although not essential
- Preferably good knowledge, but at least and awareness, of WCAG guidelines
- Experience using git is desirable
