Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Congleton, CW12 1UW
Salary: £10.98 per hour (c£22,455 per annum)
Job type: Full time, 40 hours per week over 5 days.
Fine Decor Wallcoverings Ltd is a leading Wallcoverings and Décor products supplier based in Congleton, Cheshire and part of the Brewster group whose offices are in Boston, USA.
The Role:
The successful candidate should have work experience in a similar role or have experience of working within a Warehousing / Distribution environment. Previous formal training using PPT/FLT/Bendi Truck and high-level order picker (HLOP) would also be an advantage.
The role will focus on general warehouse duties to include picking, packing and dispatching from the bulk warehouse. Goods in/Out area to be covered 1-2 days a week working across 5 days a week to ensure that all orders are dispatched in a timely manor and customer promise is adhered to.
Full training on systems and process will be provided
Key Requirements:
- A positive hands-on approach
- Good time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively being crucial
- Capacity to function alone without direct oversight, follow instructions as well as working on own initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel within the company both verbally & using written communication
- Experience working in manual role
- Experience using scanning and picking software and equipment
- Basic PC skills
- Previous experience working in a similar role
Desirable:
- Previous use of SAP
- Valid FLT Licence
- Valid Bendi Truck Licence
- Valid PPT training
- Valid HLOP
