Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Pontefract
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week – 8:00 – 4.30 Monday to Friday)
Role Overview:
The Company is the UK’s leading operator of Point of Care software and services, with over 20 years experience in the field. Their solutions are used in more than 130 hospital sites across the NHS, offering patient media and Wi-Fi.
Warehouse Operatives work within the warehouse at the Company’s Repair Centre. Responsible for daily warehouse movements inbound and out, using a forklift truck as required.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- To be responsible for operating machinery in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- To keep all systems updated correctly
- To manually handle goods as instructed.
- To work within the stock management process and ensure a clear working ethic.
- To prepare orders for dispatch.
- To receive and check goods in from drivers.
- To receive goods in from courier services.
- Load vehicles ready for delivery.
Experience, Skills & Attributes:
Experience
- Forklift driving licence. (Essential)
- Working in a similar warehouse environment. (Desirable)
- Previous experience of working with a stock management process. (Desirable)
- PC Literate (Essential)
- Physically fit (Essential)

Work Pattern:
- Working at the Pontefract office within the warehouse and closely with the Repair Centre team.
- Working 40 hrs a week
