We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Bracknell. Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, the role is responsible for ensuring that goods entering the warehouse are correct and match up to the order / delivery note, and to ensure that goods leaving the warehouse are in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards.
Main duties and accountabilities
- Goods Inwards – checking that incoming goods are correct against relevant documentations and receiving of goods onto the Company computer system.
- Picking – identifying goods and checking them against the picking list / note.
- Packing – ensuring that the correct goods in the correct quantities are packed.
- Despatch – ensuring that goods are sent to the correct customer in accordance with delivery promise.
- Export Shipping – using the most appropriate shipping method and ensuring that all export documentation is completed as required.
- Stock relocations including stock transfers and re-labelling.
- Stock count including cycle counting, perpetual inventory, variance checking.
- Checking pick notes to ensure correct lot coding, bar code labelling, documents, shipping instructions etc.
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained at all times in accordance with the Company procedures.

Skill and knowledge
- Computer Literate.
- Knowledge and understanding of electronic products and appropriate warehouse processes.
- Understanding of quality standards and the need to adhere to these.
- Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
- It is an advantage if you are a certified reach-truck and/or counterbalance forklift driver
