Job Description:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a pivotal role in our logistics team, ensuring that our products are meticulously stored, accurately managed, and efficiently dispatched. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards will be essential in supporting our operations and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
Full training will be provided however previous warehouse experience would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, check, and store incoming goods.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
Ideal Candidate:
- Highly literate. Good level of conversational and written English
- Highly numerate
- Forklift Licence is essential (expired licences accepted).
- Trained in Manual Handling.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Experienced in using computerised inventory system.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
Work Pattern: We operate to a rotating shift pattern as follows:
06:45-14:45 (Monday to Thursday) and 06:45-13:45 (Friday), followed by 14:30-22:30 (Monday to Thursday) and 13:30-20:30 (Friday).
Saturday morning shift overtime available occasionally.
