About the role:
Vent Engineering are a specialist in natural and smoke ventilation systems and have been manufacturing, supplying, installing and commissioning ventilation systems for over 25 years for a variety of projects of all shapes and sizes.
Vent Engineering is seeking an experienced administrator to work at our warehouse in Poole.
Job Description:
The warehouse organises the goods inwards and goods outwards for three separate companies. This role is pivotal in providing administration to our team of warehouse staff.
- Booking goods into the stock system on Sage 200
- Despatching goods on Sage 200
- Booking consignments on via our courier’s website and producing a daily manifest report
- Managing the movement of return stock within the building & communicating with Customer Services to ensure a speedy turnaround of repairs
About you:
In order to be successful for this role, the following is required:
- Experience of working in a busy warehouse environment.
- Strong communication skills as you will be the main contact into the warehouse from other departments (purchasing, sales etc)
- Experience of using Microsoft Outlook
- Accurate data entry skills with a good attention to detail
- Organised and able to prioritise incoming work
- The ability to work well in a team or on your own as required
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse administrator role would be ideal
- Organising the stock adjustment requests between the warehouse and the Stock Controller
- Assisting with organising Van Deliveries
- To be available for cover / to assist the Team Leader
- Other duties as required
