About us:
Bletchley Park, once the top-secret home of the World War Two Codebreakers and now a vibrant heritage attraction, is looking to recruit a Visitor Services Supervisor to join its busy Visitor Services Team. In this role you will be able to demonstrate outstanding service skills, motivating team leadership and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will be an ambassador of Bletchley Park’s mission to increase visitor numbers and the ongoing transformation of the site for future generations to enjoy.
About the role:
Reporting to the Visitor Services and Retail Manager you work alongside the supervisory team to lead, support and motivate the Visitor Services Team in providing the best possible experience for visitors to Bletchley Park. Ensuring that the service provided meets the standards expected of a national heritage site.
The role will require working 4 days per week, working Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday each week. Hours of work will be 9.00 am – 5.00 pm or 9.45 am – 5.45 pm, depending on the time of year. Overtime may be required to meet the needs of the business.

Key responsibilities:
As Visitor Services Supervisor, you will support with the day-to-day supervision and operation of the Admissions, Retail and Multi-Media areas to ensure each day runs smoothly. You will also hold appraisals and regular one to one meetings for the team.
The ideal candidate:
- To be successful in this role, you will have demonstratable experience in leading and supporting a team
- have a strong sense of professionalism and a passion for amazing customer service.
- You will be flexible in your approach to work and be comfortable working within a busy visitor facing role.
- Self-motivated, you will be able to deal with queries and complaints in a calm and efficient manner.
- Previous customer service / retail experience is required for this role.
