Job Title: Viennoiserie Assistant

Location: Greenwich, London

Salary: £23,500 per annum

Job Type: 45 hrs hours per week on rota basis including weekends and bank holidays.

Paul Rhodes Bakery is a multiple award-winning bakery who have been baking since 2003. We produce a wide range of handcrafted products including artisanal and classic breads, all butter viennoiserie, and a beautiful selection of cakes and pastry items, and deliver these everyday throughout the London region. We supply directly to over 1000 businesses from famous names such as Dinner by Heston, Fortnum & Mason, Shangri-La Hotels, Youngs pubs, Google and OXO Tower, to name a few, as well as to office caterers, local delis, bakeries and cafes and many more.

As a Company we take pride in producing exceptionally high-quality baked products, made with passion, creativity and care using traditional baking techniques and the finest ingredients whilst delivering an excellent service to our customers with every order. The role:

If you are a passionate, skilled Junior Viennoiserie Baker, then we have a fantastic opportunity as our Full-time Viennoiserie Assistant at our Greenwich Bakery.

Key information:

  • Work as part of a team to ensure that all viennoiserie products are prepared in line with quality requirements and standards and are to a high quality consistently every day and in line with customer orders
  • Capable of learning to produce a wide range of products and working to Company recipes
  • A pro-active personality – who is passionate, enthusiastic, people-focused and adaptable to all personalities
  • Can-do attitude
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines and work to a schedule/plan
  • Willingness to learn and a hunger to develop their viennoiserie skills
  • Ambitious to progress and advance in your career with the Company
  • Follow and maintain PRB processes and best practice
  • Have a genuine interest and desire to be part of a high-volume Bakery
  • Adhere and ensure all staff are complying to company policy and procedures
