Job Title: UK Sales & Business Development Manager (Home-based)
Location: Home-based / Remote and Abergavenny, Wales
Salary: Up to £60,000 plus 20% bonus

About the role:
There’s an opening for a UK Sales & Business Development Manager to join the business.
Duties include:
- To develop, maintain and grow a sustainable and profitable laboratory diagnostics business, with an accompanying specimen collection network across the UK
- To increase market penetration and market share of SYNLAB Laboratory Services in both the Pathology and Toxicology sectors
- To develop Sales and Business Development strategies and deliver them to market effectively
- To lead, develop and manage the Sales team – ensuring individual performance towards agreed goals and objectives
- To maintain relationships with Key Accounts and generate increased business opportunities
Other responsibilities:
- Consistently achieve the sales targets and profit targets
- Development of a business plan for the Toxicology and Pathology laboratories and the Collection services
- Manage the day-to-day activities and sales performance of the Sales team
- Develop and enhance the service offering alongside Marketing
- Development of Sales and Business Development plan
Essential Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in Sales
- Excellent sales, communication and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to motivate and lead a team
- Demonstrated planning and organisational skills
- The ability to work calmly under pressure
- Data and financial information analysis skills
- Ability to work independently and prepared for frequent travel
Desirable
- Laboratory diagnostics Sales experience, preferably Toxicology and Pathology
- Experience in Customer Relations Management (CRM) software systems
