Job Title: Tree and Woodland Officer

Location: Harrogate

Salary: £22,183 to £24,491 Grade: E

Post Number: LP12, Arboriculture, Parks and Environmental Services

Hours: 37 per week, Suitable for Job share (30hrs plus)

The Council are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join the arboriculture team and handle the management of trees and woodland around the Harrogate District. As well as ensuring the safety of the current tree stock, work will include identifying new tree planting opportunities within the district to support key organisational and environmental objectives.

Whilst training can be given in specific survey methodologies, a good level of arboricultural understanding is required. A full current UK driving licence is essential.
