Job Title: Transport Manager – National and International
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: £18,000 to £22,000 per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (Monday to Thursday 09.00 am – 17.30 pm. Fridays are 09.00 am to 17.00 pm)

Main Duties:
- Plan and supervise the shipments from production to the end-user
- Schedule daily and weekly routes
- Track orders using functional systems
- Coordinate with Warehouse assistant to ensure proper storage and distribution of products
- Monitor and report on transportation costs
- Ensure shipping documents are properly filed
- Report maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles and equipment
- Research and suggest cost-effective shipping methods
- Conduct regular safety audits on equipment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation
- Stay up-to-date with safety regulations
- Update salespersons with the status of their orders
- Connect with cargo companies if any delivery gets late or undelivered
- Will act as a coordination bridge between Sales and Production unit
- Helping Sales in knowing lead time from the production unit
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Transportation Manager or similar role
- Solid knowledge of supply chain management
- Experience preparing and tracking orders
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Problem-solving abilities
