Job Title: Transport Co-ordinator
Location: Worthing, BN12 6NZ – Office Based
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: 7am – 5pm
As well as the outstanding range of landscaping supplies, Eurogreen Environmental is one of the leading, fully licensed, greenwaste recycling sites in West Sussex.
Key Duties:
- Organising daily delivery runs, proactively managing the driver’s daily plans
- Liaising with drivers regarding any delivery changes
- Organising Lorry inspections, maintenance, parts, tyres and MOTs
- Lorry tacho calibration
- Ensuring full compliance of transport
- Responsible for taking all delivery bookings over phone
- Organising loading of all lorries throughout the day
Key Competencies:
- Working knowledge of transport, drivers’ hours and regulations
- Geographical knowledge of south of England
- Strong and effective organisation and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible – willing to help out wherever needed
- IT Literate.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure in a busy company
- Team player
- Previous transport management experience essential
