Job Title: Trainee Printer Press Operator and Warehouse
Location: Wokingham, Berkshire, RG41 2FD
Salary: £19,000 per annum, dependent upon experience

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Printer Press Operator and Warehouse operative to join PRISYM ID based in Wokingham, Berkshire.

Role Overview:
Your role will be to produce, pack and dispatch self-adhesive labels according to customer specification using:
- Focus F250 Flexoprint
- Omega Slitter Re-winder
- Hot Foil Stamping press
- Arpecco rewinder
- Bureau printing
You will also assist with maintaining the warehouse
Job Duties:
Under supervision you will:
- Produce self-adhesive labels according to customer specifications
- Look after the management, control and maintenance of all machines
- Package all finished labels
- Ensure raw materials are available and of excellent quality in preparation for production
- Provide cover on other machines in the event of absences
- Handle the housekeeping of working area and machinery, ensuring H&S standards are adhered to
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant H&S procedures
- Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to H&S and Quality Management
- Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility
About you:
This is a trainee role so all necessary on the job training will be provided, however we are looking for someone who is keen to learn new skills, is flexible and has an eye for detail.
You’ll need:
- An interest in learning the skills involved in print production
- Excellent eyesight and ability to distinguish colours as well as a good eye for detail
- Good general education
