Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse
Location: SE23 3HN, Forest Hill
Salary: £11 per hour (negotiable)
Job type: Full-time, Permanent position. Immediate Start. Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 (flexible), occasional Saturdays if needed.

We are a reputable NHS practice providing a comprehensive range of clinical NHS procedures to maintain oral health. Alongside NHS treatments, we offer private dental services, including specialist procedures such as oral surgery with or without sedation, cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and more. Our clinic prioritises patient comfort and safety, offering a nervous patient program and special arrangements for home visits for sick or disabled patients. We maintain strict infection control measures and provide facilities for disabled patients to ensure a comfortable and safe environment.
Daily Duties:
- Assisting dentists during treatments and procedures
- Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, equipment, and materials
- Sterilising instruments and maintaining a clean and organised surgery environment
- Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Taking accurate notes and recording patient information during appointments
- Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
Skills or Requirements:
- No prior experience required; full training provided
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Punctual and reliable
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
