Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse

Salary: £27,040 per annum

Working Hours: Practice Operating Hours 8am-8pm Monday to Friday (Late night Thursdays) Hours Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting dentists during procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising equipment
- Greeting and preparing patients
- Managing patient records and appointments
- Taking X-rays and ensuring radiation safety
- Educating patients on oral hygiene
- Maintaining infection control and cleanliness
- Handling dental instruments and materials
- Assisting in emergencies and patient comfort
Candidate Requirements:
- Enthusiasm and a genuine interest in dental healthcare
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Empathy and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients
- Basic IT skills
- Willingness to adhere to strict hygiene and infection control protocols
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and continuing education in dental nursing
- Ability to handle dental instruments and equipment with care
- Punctuality and a professional appearance
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom, including any necessary work permits or visas if applicable

- Must have a National Insurance Number, first dose of Hep B & Letter of Enrolment
