Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse

Salary: £24,000 per year

The Role:
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join a dental team. A well-established independent mixed Dental Practice offering a supportive, experienced, and very friendly team. Offering all aspects of routine and cosmetic Dentistry, NHS & Private. A modern three-surgery practice, fully digital and computerised, with newly refurbished surgeries, air-conditioning, and have appropriate consideration for ventilation.
Looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual, a team player willing to develop with our progressive practice and ensure that our patients are provided a great service. You will be provided with the supervision and support to ensure successful completion of your training
The position is available for immediate start and there is flexibility to consider notice periods. This is a permanent role being offered on a Full-time basis (Weekdays 9am to 5pm with one-two Saturdays per month, 9am to 1pm.
There are excellent transport links to the practice, a minute’s walk from the Underground Station and there is free parking available in the area.
The Candidate:
- Right to work in the UK/National Insurance Number/Ability to work Full-Time
- Begun the process of Hep B immunisations
- Enhanced DBS Check
- Infection Control procedures and decontamination
- Stock taking and maintaining dental operating equipment
- Looking after patient records – including making notes when the dentist is examining a patient
- Willing to help with reception/admin duties
- Team player and demonstrates initiative
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and multitask
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
