About the role:
To respond to Lowry and Quaytickets customer booking enquiries either by telephone, post, in person or e-mail in order to maximise sales and deliver the highest standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for the customer answering questions and queries whilst ensuring the highest standards of customer service are consistently delivered in a timely manner.
- Processing Lowry and Quaytickets booking transactions using the computerised ticket sales systems both on site at The Lowry’s contact centre and box office as well as offsite mobile box offices as may be required.
- Advising customers of additional products and upselling add-ons to enhance their overall experience.
- Achieve individual and team targets and KPI’s and positively contribute to the team.
- Ensure that accurate customer information is actively obtained, recorded and maintained within the database according to the Data Protection Act.
- Promote and comply with legislation and The Lowry’s policies on equal opportunities and health and safety both in the delivery of services and the treatment of others.
- Undertake all training as required in order to meet business needs.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties, commensurate with the level of the post to ensure the smooth running of The Lowry.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong customer care skills.
- Good organisation skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- An eye for detail; effective and accurate record keeping.
- Use of windows-based PC applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, etc).
- Working in a contact centre sales environment In-person sales and customer service.
- Experience of handling objections, ability to understand and promptly.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Data protection act.
- Using computerised ticket sales systems especially SRO, Tessitura, Spektrix or Secutix.
- Venue ticketing for Theatre, visitor attractions or sports venues.
- Customer Service training.
- Sales Training.
- Achievement of individual team targets and KPIs.
- Cash handling.
- Using computerised ticket sales systems especially SRO, Tessitura, Spektrix or Secutix.
