About the Role:
As a Telephone Account Manager, you will support and maintain purposeful relationships across all Intermediary disciplines. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding Annual Premium Income (API) targets across all insurance propositions set in line with The Exeter’s objectives and targets, whilst reinforcing TCF principles and work in line with The Exeter brand values.
Responsibilities:
- To work in an effective partnership with the Key Account Managers to identify business growth opportunities by implementing communication contact strategies
- To proactively follow up leads generated from events and seminars
- Seek to improve sales quality (DQM) ensuring that all actions are up to date and that sales are aligned with The Exeter’s requirements and regulatory principles
- Deliver confident training via webinars
- Demonstrate commitment to personal development and professional advancement
- To maintain and support accounts by building up a client portfolio and establishing a rapport to secure more business from existing and develop new intermediaries
- To undertake proactive sales campaigns on specific products or product features
- To undertake sales and service calls to productive and non-productive accounts
- Deliver Management Information (MI) requirements to support the distribution team and key partners
Experience & Qualifications:
- Demonstratable knowledge of the financial services industry
- Proven history within a successful sales role
- Cert CII (Health and Protection) qualification (or able to work towards) desired
- Experience of working within the IFA sector and Regulated Intermediary sector
- IT Literate (proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel previous use of database systems an advantage)
- Must have the right to work in the UK
