Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Wigan
Salary: £40,000 – £42,500 per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Established in 1974, The Company is one of the UK’s leading Heat Treatment engineering companies, undertaking a range of in-house heat treatment services and on-site heat treatment projects around the globe.
They are also a specialised manufacturer of on-site heat treatment equipment and refractory anchor products.
To maintain their stance in the industry they are now seeking a business development manager.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience of working in a sales environment
- Previous experience of their industries (heat treatment, petro-chem, refractory installation etc.)
- The ability to identify new business opportunities and seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
- A drive to generate leads by cold calling prospective customers
- Meet with customer/potential customers face to face
- Confidence with the ability to engage and build a rapport with your customers
- Help to plan sales literature and marketing campaigns
- Generate sales reports and liaise with senior management
- You must have a driving licence
