Job role:
The objective of this role is to support UK and export equipment sales by following up leads generated through web/digital and other marketing activities. To be pro-active in the selling of equipment and to support the sale of spare parts within the Sales Office.
- Support sales team through the development of customer leads
- Manage and grow export sales
- Administration of sales enquiries and orders
Key Duties:
- Developing relations with UK and export customers
- Processing customer enquiries and orders, and maintenance of customer records
- Initial contact for all sales leads, progressing leads and closing customer enquiries to order status
- Maintenance of customer records
- Implement pro-active actions for equipment sales
- Interdepartmental liaison
- Supporting activity for spare part sales
Key Requirements:
- Experienced, with automotive industry background (desirable)
- Understanding/experience of UK vehicle testing regime (desirable)
- Lead generation
- Previous experience of selling
- Understanding of export sales
- Full understanding of the sales process/cross selling/upselling
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisation skills
- Excellent understanding of IT, experience of working with all MS programmes.
