About the role:
The Technical Gating Lead is responsible for management and support of the technical team that includes Build, Electrical, Rigging and BTS disciplines and the creation/breakdown for producing detailed scope of works to then align towards understood deployment execution.
This also covers the commercial rate card call-offs to support the planned approach for SOW inc’ materials, plant. Helping prioritise workload and troubleshooting issues with the teams.
Key tasks:
- Support all pricing and bid works with knowledge of industry best practice and current company policies and capabilities when required.
- Work with the SHEQs manager/department on all matters regarding the day-to-day delivery of projects relating to safety of the field teams.
- Support project and planning team on any technical issues that might arise and advise on work around solutions.
- Provide support to members of the company delivery team as and when required.
- Receive & validate all relevant instructions from the client where required.
- Provide support to other service managers when requested.
- Collate & update databases/trackers with new instructions when required.
- Check and prepare instructions to partners & suppliers.
- Record incoming reports & issue regular outstanding reports details. Deal with all queries relating to this task.
- Understand, adhere to, and promote company policies and processes.
- Work with and support delivery team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries
- Involvement in design reviews and site solutions
- Develop and working within scope vs budget for delivery projects
- Support all pricing and bid works with knowledge of industry best practice and current company policies and capabilities when required
- Keep all Nokia systems including but not limited to MyProj and IPM systems up to date with all relevant information related to overseen projects / ADC partners.
- Provide support to Dependency Managers to help provide quick resolution where issues arise during on site activities.
- Assist Project Manager where required with all aspects of the project.
- Any other duties deemed appropriate by the business.

- Experience in technical roles/lead engineering/deployment teams preferred
- Experience in leading teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
- Roll Out/Project management experience/certification preferred
