Here within Anglian Water, Danaher & Walsh collaborate with a number of alliance partners to provide the best water and water recycling services across the region by maintaining our existing assets and undertaking new projects to safeguard future water supplies.
Playing a key part in our drive to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop are The Embedded Alliances which include the Water Recycling Network.
Comprising of Anglian Water, Clancy Docwra, Claret Civil Engineering, Public Sewer Services and Danaher & Walsh, the Water Recycling Network manages planned and emergency sewer and rising mains repairs across the region.
To ensure Project Delivery Teams are supported with enabling type functions to help ensure the efficient and timely delivery of projects, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Technical Administrator to join us on an initial 18 month fixed term basis with the possibility of going permanent.
What will you be doing as our new Technical Administrator?
Working closely with a diverse team within a true alliance, including both Tier-1 and Tier-2 alliance partners, you’ll truly be a central point of administrative support and the glue of the team ensuring projects have the appropriate and timely support required.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and timely administrative support to ensure projects can proceed whilst meeting stakeholder and legal requirements
- When pressure monitors are installed, upload their individual data ID information onto a web-based monitoring system and ensure maintained as required
- Use existing information obtained from various internal document sources, to collate a desk-top survey report of pumping stations, to enable hydraulic reports to be completed by others
- Produce data analysis and reports to provide key information to aid business- making decisions
- Understand opportunities for continuous improvement and take part on projects/ initiatives to produce better ways of working
A little bit about your skills and behaviours…
To join us and play a key role in our project delivery, you’ll have proven administrative experience underpinned by strong IT skills. Able to build strong relationships with a variety of teams, you’ll be comfortable showcasing strong written and verbal communication skills and be accustomed to managing tight delaines and conflicting priorities.
Whilst technical or administrative exposure within the water/ waste water industry would be beneficial, more important is your ability to deliver efficient administrative tasks in a fast paced environment with approachable and team-centric outlook.
We envisage that this role will require the successful candidate to travel across the region to truly support the team.
