The role:

As part of our People and Culture team we’re seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist t to help us secure top-tier talent who can join us on our mission to eradicate single use plastic. This is a new role within the team, and whilst you’ll be reporting into our Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll also have an amazing opportunity to work with the leaders of the business to support the end-to-end recruitment process and to ensure that we’re bringing the best people possible onto our team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced senior recruitment specialist to grow their career with a fast growth, mission driven business.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for driving direct recruitment fulfilment – through direct sourcing, job boards and referrals and continuous improvement to the recruitment proposition to the candidates
  • Using the standardised screening techniques to assess the skills, qualifications and experience of potential candidates
  • Carrying out best in class candidate sourcing in order to build a strong pipeline of candidates
  • Outstanding candidate management via our ATS Workable – you’ll be the face of our brand so building great relationships and leading by example is a must!
  • Supporting the Talent Acquisition Manager to provide regular dashboards. MI reports, insights and knowledge of the market based on evidence to the business.
  • Using creative ideas to drive our employer brand into the market as an employer of choice
  • Provide a weekly synopsis to the Talent Acquisition Manager relating to all recruitment activities
  • Clear and concise communication tot candidates through the recruitment process to create a candidate experience in line with our brand values
  • Increase both the number and the quality of candidates in our talent pipeline by building a world class employer brand, and sourcing amazing talent
  • Keeping up with industry standards and innovations to integrate them, where relevant, into The Modern Milkman

The Candidate:

  • You are excited by our mission to revolutionise consumer habits and reset our throwaway society
  • You are an experienced recruiter/talent specialist either from an agency or in-house team, with a solid understanding/experience of Food & FMCG industry, logistics and supply chain with a proven track record
  • Experience of sourcing candidates using professional platforms (LinkedIn, indeed, Glassdoor etc) and social media channels
  • Deep knowledge and experience of using ATS (ideally Workable) and how to optimise using candidate/hiring data
  • Proven experience of different interview techniques, evaluation methods and full 360 recruitment cycle
  • You are a problem-solver that isn’t afraid to work at all levels, and use data to their advantage, identifying the roots of what they are trying to solve and providing the best solution.
  • You’re a brilliant marketer, as it relates to Talent Acquisition and an advocate for employer brand
  • You’re super creative – bursting with ideas and a plan to experiment and execute on employer brand activities, helping us grow our reputation as a home for A-players
