Select Lifestyles Limited was established in 2007, and we provide Specialist Support for individuals with additional needs. Our Service Users may be people living with Challenging
Behaviours, Adults living with Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism and Complex Health Needs such as Epilepsy and Acquired Brain Injuries.
The Role
We are recruiting for a Service Manager for our 4-bed supported living service in West Bromwich.
This role will involve treating every single day you spend with the Service Users as another day closer to reaching their individual goals, milestones, and aspirations.
You will make every resident feel valued and respected with your compassionate and unconditionally caring nature.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance is met in line with the Select Lifestyles Limited company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, striving to achieve and maintain the highest quality Care Rating.
- Assist the Locality Manager with the staff across the Services, including their working hours and rotas in line with set budgets with outlook to continuously reduce costs where possible and increase profitability.
- Take on an active Leadership approach, which positively influences your team and sets a standard across the board to all staff ensuring our highest standard of practice and service delivery.
- Continuously support and develop your team, as well as liaising with our in-house recruiter to source ideal candidates for your Service in order to grow your team.
- Ensure that all care services comply with Government legislation, Social Care Council Codes of Practice, any other legal or contractual obligations and Select Lifestyles Ltd policies and procedures.
- Liaise with other key staff to deploy and manage staff teams in the most effective way, including rota management, recruitment and selection of staff, staff probation, supervision and performance review, grievance and disciplinary matters.
- Drive initiatives within the Care Management team that contribute to the long-term operational excellence of Select Lifestyles Ltd.
- As a Service/Scheme Manager you will be required to still provide care on a 1-2-1 basis.
- 5 hours per week with on call responsibilities on a rota basis.
- The ideal candidate will hold a NVQ Level 3 or above or willing to work towards.
