We are looking for someone who answered yes to join our brilliant supported living service in Weston-super-Mare as a Support Worker. We are currently supporting a very capable young lady with autism who loves to get out and about as often as she can.

Your role:
As a Support Worker your job will revolve around assisting the people we support to do what they want to do, a Support Worker’s day may involve:
- Providing active support
- Prompting and assisting with jobs around the house
- Encouraging the people we support to be as independent as possible
- Accompanying people we support into the community
- Dealing with some behaviours that challenge
- Administering medication
- Personal care
What we need from you:
The main thing for us is that you embody our mission of ensuring that young people and adults with disabilities don’t face barriers to being able to live their best life. We are looking for Support Workers who mirror the personalities of the people we support, a good sense of humour, the desire to be out and about and a friendly nature are all essentials. To be an effective Support Worker in these services you must hold a full drivers licence.
