Job Title: Support Worker – Transition Services

Location: Brent Knoll, Somerset

Salary: £18,278.00 per annum

Job type: There are various full and part time hours available! This service works over a seven-day rota, and would include some weekends and bank holidays.

It’s a great time to join our friendly team as we set up our new Transition Services in Brent Knoll, Somerset!

We have set up a new team filled with people who have a passion to help the people we support achieve their goals. We will help them gain vital skills while with us in our residential transition service to enable them to build for their future in Supported Living services within the Community.

Ideally, you will have a background in supporting autistic people if not, we have a fantastic training programme that will get you on your way to achieving a fulfilling job that will beat most out there.

Being a support worker takes passion, patience and commitment. But working with autistic people gives so much more in return.

The Role:

  • Helping individuals achieve independence and personal goals.
  • Supporting and transporting individuals to integrate into their community.
  • Develop individuals’ life skills, vocational, educational and creative skills.
  • Help provide exercise, leisure and recreational opportunities.

Extra Information:

  • Successful applicants will be required to complete the relevant safeguarding checks which will include references and criminal backgrounds.
