Job type: Permanent, Part time – 07.30am – 5.00pm (1 hour lunch) Monday, Thursday and Friday

Role Overview:
As the dedicated stores person for the Manchester branch, you will be required to:
- Maintain stock levels (placing orders with suppliers, taking receipt of deliveries and off-loading materials via FLT)
- Pick materials for engineer collection from the warehouse in a timely manner, combined with ensuring the stores area is maintained in a safe, clean and organised manner
- Keep company IT systems up-to-date to reflect booking in/out of issued materials
- Ensure equipment inspections such as PA testing, ladder/harness/lanyard inspections/ calibration records are up-to-date and the company IT systems reflect the same (full training will be provided) as required
- Carryout monthly vehicle inspections and site audits on engineers to ensure company SHEQ standards are upheld
The Candidate:
- You will need to be self-motivated with a “roll your sleeves up” attitude
- Possessing a background within the construction industry, with experience of general stores and an understanding, you will thrive on problem solving tasks and display excellent organisational and IT skills
- A driving licence is essential
- A forklift licence (category – B1 counterbalance (up to and inc 5 tonne)) would also be an advantage but not essential
- A CSCS card would also be an advantage but not essential
