Job Title: Stores Operative
Location: Farnworth, BL4 0AN
Salary: £19,266 per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent – 38 hrs per week (worked over 5 days a week)

About the role:
- To pick multiple components to form a kit of parts ready for assembly as identified on the Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Understand and maintain simple Kanban systems to ensure commonly used items are always available for the production teams
- Be able to positively manage multiple requests, understanding priority levels and making quick decisions in order to complete tasks
About you:
Minimum Experience
- Picking stock (preferably into kit form)
- Demonstrable IT ability to carry out activities such as
- Use of basic spreadsheets
- Booking goods into the system
- Putting stock away
- Checking goods/Qty’s match the delivery note
- Despatch activities such as
- Packing items
- Preparing pallets
- Loading goods onto trucks etc
Attitude and approach to work
- Excellent timekeeping and Attendance
- Positive can-do approach to work with a willingness to learn and develop
- Works well within a small team as well as being able to work well alone
- Flexible and Willing to help when required
- Good Communication skills
- Asks questions when unsure of what to do
Extremely desirable (but not essential)
- Responsibilities as a team leader within a stores environment
- Using a Kardex Vertical Storage Carousel
- An FLT (Flexi) licence
- Advance IT skills such as
- Booking goods into the system
- Despatching goods off the system
- Goods inward procedures such as
- Unloading deliveries
- Checking goods/Qty’s match the delivery note
