Job Title: Store Person

Salary: Up to £40k pa DOE
Job type: Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, 8 am – 6 pm (1-hour break)

Responsibilities:
As a Store Person, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero, ensuring that our operations run like a well-oiled machine. Your responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with management and workshop staff to maintain fully stocked stores.
- Keeping our inventory replenished and in tip-top shape.
- Placing orders with the right suppliers, maintaining accurate stock sheets.
- Ensuring store security by keeping everything locked, distributing stock, company tools, and PPE to our team.
- Keeping our stores tidy, clean, and meticulously organized.
- Obtaining prices for job-specific parts and placing orders.
- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely and complete deliveries.
- Receiving and unloading deliveries, meticulously checking parts for accuracy and condition.
- Properly storing and labelling parts.
- Utilizing a forklift when necessary.
- Managing returns and credit notes.
- Maintaining a comprehensive paper trail of all orders from initial order to invoice.
- Ensuring the prompt processing of all invoices.
- Assisting accounts with month-end procedures and handling supplier queries.
- Keeping an eye on monthly spending to stay within budget.
- Reporting issues to management promptly.

- A friendly, helpful, and confident telephone manner.
- A willingness to learn and the initiative to get things done.
- Flexibility within the job role.
- Exceptional timekeeping.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Previous experience in an automotive parts admin role and/or knowledge of different vehicles and parts.
- Manual dexterity, as this role involves aspects of manual handling.
- A forklift license is desirable.
