Job Title: Stock Analyst

Salary: £30,000 + Quarterly Bonus (£35k OTE)

We are currently seeking an experienced Stock Analyst who will play a crucial role in stock planning, stock control and stock forecasting.
You will work with a wider team to drive profit for the business whilst thinking commercially and innovatively. The successful candidate will be analytical, data-driven, meticulous, methodical and a real problem-solver. Ultimately, you will work to ensure we have the right products, at the right time, in the right quantities.

Main Duties :
- Generate statistical data to help with stock forecast, looking at historical data and planned future events and promotions and projected sales
- Analyse Actual versus System demand forecast, highlight gaps and make recommendations for improvement on accuracy to ensure stock optimisation
- Produce reports on stock status (e.g. overstock, slow moving stock, aged and discontinued)
- Analyse data to highlight shortage/overstock risks
- Communicate with other departments on stock status
- Help resolve any stock issues e.g. lead time issues, customer and supplier specific problems
- Compile and analyse freight costs and statistics to identify improvements
- To help manage the modifications of products to meet bespoke customer needs
About you:
- Must have at least 2 years experience in stock or inventory analyst role
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Assertive, confident, willing to challenge and make decisions for the interest of the company
- Excellent communication skills, showing versatility in your approach to each situation
- Be able to manage tight deadlines and peaks of workload
- Proactive approach to work and keen to do what’s right for the business
- Resilient, curious and logical
- Confident I.T skills, excellent Excel skills
