The College, accredited by the British Council for teaching English as a foreign language in the UK, is a specialist language college, established in 1989. They are continuously expanding to provide relevant courses to an ever-evolving world. As well as English language programmes, they have recently added further and higher education courses to their repertoire.
They are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivational teachers to teach international students on their further and higher education programmes on a part-time basis. Their courses are delivered at levels 3, 4, 5 and 6.
The Role
They are looking for inspirational teachers to cover the following courses and units:
Mechanical Engineering Teacher (full time position may be considered for the right candidate, which will involve managing and maintaining the engineering laboratory when they reopen after the COVID 19 situation).
Aeronautical Engineering Teacher (full time position may be considered for the right candidate.)
Business Management Lecturer
They’re seeking a lecturer who can teach level 6, which requires the candidate to have a Masters qualification (or level 7 equivalent).
Computer Science Teacher (level 5):
- Concurrent and Parallel Algorithms
- Object Oriented Development
- Cryptogrophy
International Relations Teacher (level 4):
- Introduction to Politics
- Introduction to Contemporary International Relations
- Global Comparative Politics
- Introduction to Globalisation
International Relations Teacher (Level 5):
- Politics in Action
- Political Analysis
Knowledge or experience of Supply Chain Management / Procurement and Strategic Sourcing / Sustainable Supply Chains is beneficial for this role.
Aviation Management Teacher
They are currently improving and developing the Aviation Management offering and want someone with a broad experience of the business side of aviation, from operations and marketing to safety and economics. The successful candidate will be able to use their experience to plan, tailor and deliver modules to international students in the first two years at level 4 and 5. The potential to deliver units on aeronautical engineering courses would also be desirable, so some experience of engineering within the aviation sphere would be a bonus.
Key Requirements:
Teachers will be involved in preparing and delivering lessons according to course specifications as well as assignment preparation, marking and internal verification.

Due to the current COVID situation, the successful candidates will be able to teach online from their own home. This means experience in online teaching is beneficial.
Essential:
- Candidates should have a relevant degree (Bachelors for teaching levels 4 and 5 or Masters Level 7 to teach Business Management at level 6)
- A teaching qualification.
Preferable:
- 2 years of industry and / or teaching experience
- Experience of teaching or working with students from the Middle East & North African region
