Job Title: Spare Parts Administrator
Location: Gainsborough
Salary: £19,000 and £22,000, depending on experience
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (subject to a satisfactory 3 month probationary period)
The Company is looking for an experienced Administrator who can “hit the ground running” with a preferable background in an engineering based business. This is a busy department therefore the ability to pick things up quickly is essential.
The Role:
This position is to support the spares and service department with an emphasis on spare parts. This will require dealing with sales, returns, credits, complaints and delivery and pricing queries mainly via telephone and email.
Primary Duties:
- Provide quotations for spare parts enquires via telephone and email
- Receive and check customer orders to provide customer confirmations
- Liaise with purchasing to ensure customer expectations are met
- Liaise with stores and despatch to ensure orders are despatched on time
- Check orders prior to advising accounts to invoice orders
- Liaise with the customer service co-ordinator to ensure spare parts are available for engineer’s visits
- Dealing with complaints, customer returns and raising credit notes
- Provide export paperwork for international shipments
- Liaising with carriers and freight forwarders regarding shipments
Key Requirements:
You will have a good understanding of technical support and customer response along with a passion for customer service. Customer service and organisation is key to this role along with IT literacy and excellent communication skills
