Job Title: Software Solutions Developer – KTP Associate

The Role:
This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on an industry-based project in the field of cloud computing and data analytics.
The opportunity is a KTP (Knowledge Transfer Partnership) project funded by Innovate UK for Edge Hill University to build new capacity in BEC Systems Integration Ltd. The project aims to strengthen their position as a market leading data capture solution for supply chain logistics and manufacturing. The project will focus on the development of a scalable, cloud-based, software product infrastructure.
This post will be based on the premises of BEC Systems Integration in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Enthusiastic application developer with a focus on cloud services.
- Effective understanding or experience or machine learning and/or data mining techniques.
- Experience of working within a project team is desirable.
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences is essential.
