What does a Social Worker do at Hillingdon?
As a Social Worker in our Adults Hospital team, you will play a pivotal role in the lives of individuals facing challenging circumstances. Your expertise will help shape their journey to recovery and empowerment. Your days will be filled with purpose as you perform Care Act Assessments, Mental Capacity Act assessments, placement requests, and manage complex cases. You will also collaborate with health professionals, attend essential meetings, and act as a safeguarding enquirer. About You:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Social Worker who holds a recognized qualification and is registered with Social Work England. Your expertise will be the foundation of the impactful work you will do with our team. The ideal candidate will bring a diverse set of skills to the table, including experience in conducting Care Act and Mental Capacity Act assessments, managing complex cases, and collaborating with a range of stakeholders. Strong communication skills are essential for this role.
You will engage with individuals, families, health professionals, and other stakeholders, advocating for the best outcomes and fostering collaborative relationships.
