Job Title: Social Media Video Content Creator
Location: Poole, Dorset
Salary: £20,000 – £23,000 per annum
Job type: Permanent/Full-time – Monday to Friday – 08.30 to 17.30
Do you love creating content suitable for posting on social media?
We are looking for someone that is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, to produce and present short videos, news posts and company announcements that are suitable for posting on the Company website and social media platforms.
You will join an existing design studio that currently focuses on pdf and printed-based material. We do however intend to evolve this studio into a fully functioning media centre that is capable of supporting Vent Engineering’s ambitious expansion plans.
This is a new position, and we are excited to see what applicants bring in terms of creative vision and final product.
You’ll need to:
- have experience, either professional or personal, of creating and starring in video content that has been posted on social media;
- be able to speak clearly
- have a confident personality that shines on camera
- be creative
- have strong communication and people skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and customers
- be organised, with the ability to prioritise and work across multiple projects
- have a solid understanding of the different social media platforms
- be able to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines
Beneficial but not essential skills include:
- experience of writing press releases
- experience of using video-editing software
