To support our ambition, we are seeking to appoint a Social Media Specialist.
Are you a creative story teller with great content creation skills and a track record of growing engagement across social media? If so, we have compelling stories for you to tell about our plans to transform Walsall.

We need a social media story teller who will join our team and help us to build relationships with our residents and our stakeholders across a range of social and digital channels.
About the role:

About you:
We are looking for creative candidates who are full of ideas and have a passion for communications.
You’ll have experience of social media community management and expertise in reaching different audiences through a range of channels and a variety of content.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering social media campaigns on behalf of the council and our services
- Creating multimedia content to communicate key messages to raise awareness of Walsall and of Walsall Council
- Community management of the Council’s social media accounts
- Interpreting social media analytics to measure and shape content
