The Role:
The Site Services Technicians support our Site Services Team Leader in delivering site services in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. The Site Services Technicians will be responsible for carrying out a variety of site service tasks, including travelling to customer sites, materials testing, equipment maintenance, and material handling. The Site Services Technician will be a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct before use vehicle/equipment checks and maintenance to ensure that all site services equipment is in good working condition.
- Ensure that all tools and testing equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Conduct testing of asphalt, aggregates, earthworks, and concrete, at site locations.
- Handle and transport materials and samples as needed, including loading and unloading vehicles and other testing and material-handling equipment.
- Assist Site Services Team Leader in coordinating and scheduling site services activities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide support to other site personnel as needed.
- Any other duties within your capabilities.
Key Working Relationships:
The Site Services Technician will work closely with the Site Services Team Leader, other Site Services Technicians, Customer site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure that site services are delivered in accordance with project requirements. The Site Services Technicians will also work closely with the Site Services Team Leader to ensure that site services operations are aligned with company goals and objectives.
What we are looking for?
- 3 GCSE’s A – C or equivalent.
- Experience in site services or a related field.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Available and flexible to workdays and nights across the country.
- Full UK Unblemished Driving Licence.
