Job Title: Site Operator
Location: Gunness, Scunthorpe
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum depending on experience
Job Type: Full Time – Permanent. 40 hours per week – Monday – Friday with overtime.
Worked over two shift patterns:
Week 1 – 07h00 – 15h30
Week 2 – 08h30 – 17h00
Overtime Rates: 1.5 x basic salary for any hours worked between Monday to Saturday, 2 x basic salary for any hours worked on a Sunday and Bank Holiday

The Role:
To contribute to the safe operational efficiency and effectiveness of the depots on time and in full targets.
Key Tasks and Duties:
- Receive deliveries of supplies and ensure safe handling and storage to laid down operational procedures
- Load vehicles of supplies and ensure safe handling and dispatch to laid down operational procedures
- Contribute to the safe handling and storage of chemical products to ensure compliance with legislation and operational requirements
- Filling of packed products following operational procedures
- Blending of products laid down in operational procedures
- Building loads to meet customer and depot orders
- Contribute to the safe and efficient running of the yard and warehouses
- Always applying general housekeeping
- Carrying out any reasonable task after adequate training, related to the post assigned by a line manager
Skills & Competencies:
- Able to communicate well with customers, suppliers, depots, and other employees.
- Work well within a team.
- Responsible for employee and site safety
- Flexible and able to work within a team with a good work ethic.
Education & Qualification Requirements:
- Must have valid FLT license
- Previous experience of working within the chemical industry
- H&S experience
Training & Competencies:
- Forklift driver.
- Health & safety related training.
