We are currently looking for a Site manager/Project Manager for Groundworks and RC Frame in South London area.
Overseas candidates will NOT be considered for this role. We are not sponsoring Visa’s at this time, so please refrain from applying unless eligible to work/reside in the UK
The Candidate:
- The ideal candidate will need HND Civils/NVQ Level 6, SMSTS and first aid as a minimum.
- They will be required to manage the health and safety and quality assurance on site and also to manage team of groundworkers, steel fixer and carpenters.
- Minimum of 5 year’s management experience working on projects that involved RC works, groundworks, basement works and piling.
- Valid CSCS card
- Valid Right to work code
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Oversee day to day on site health and safety and ensure compliance with the Company’s health and safety and environmental policies and procedures
- Work in conjunction with the Contracts Manager & Principal Contractor
- Monitor progress of the build programme to ensure construction methods and timescales are met and take corrective action to bring progress back in line with programme.
- Agree and manage the equipment, plant, staffing and sub-contract requirements for the site.
- Issue requests for information and respond to all queries and action accordingly.
- Manage quality assurance
