Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Scarborough
Salary: Up to £40,000 per year.
Job type: Full Time – Permanent. Due to the area of our responsibility to our customers there will be a requirement to work away from home due to site locations.

The Role/Duties & Requirements:
You will provide support and management of the site requirements for the National Grid Electric and Northern Powergrid Framework contracts, including but not limited to:
- Detailed / Technical site surveys (in conjunction with Sales Applications).
- Preparation of site-specific RAMS, cable schedules etc.
- Plan the “how to” for installation / replacement of equipment without disruption to site loads.
- Liaise with engineering to ensure equipment is designed for minimal site disruption during installation.
- Undertake onsite design review meetings with the client.
- Undertake site kick off meetings with DPS install lead engineer and site SAP.
- Following site kick off meeting, specify any specialist install equipment / materials needed.
- Request and review site pre-construction information and progress as required.
- Identify and specify welfare facilities and battery disposal requirements.
- Provide support to the project / service coordinators on a daily basis on technical and site issues.
- Provide remote and / or onsite support to the installation teams as required.
- Identify, liaise and arrange specialist third party site services, such as lifting / slinging, civils, asbestos clearance works etc.
- Mentor and support the installation teams on the job in hand and provide onsite support as required.
- Assist with kitting up jobs in the Scarborough factory ready for site commencement.
- Review temporary chargers and batteries used on the framework contracts to ensure they are in date and annually serviced.
- Provide regular site presence on NG sites (as frequently as needed) to provide install teams and site SAPS with support.
- Undertake site audits on DPS engineers.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualifications/Accreditations (Desirable) –
- Hold valid NG Electric authorisations & NPg authorisations.
- IOSH Managing Safely.
- CITB Site Management Safety Training.
- BS7671 – 2018 18th
Experience and Knowledge (Essential) –
- Experience of working under CDM and setting up CDM zones.
- Experience of producing Risk assessments and Method statements.
- Experience of working with electrical systems and following circuit diagrams.
- Experience of working / supervising on National Grid Electric and Northern Powergrid Substations. (Desirable)
Skills and Abilities (Essential) –
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer focused.
- Good time management skills.
Other (Essential) –
- Full driving licence.
