Job Title: Site Fitter/ Operative – Metal Work
Location: Brentwood
Salary: £140 – £150 day rate – Expenses covered from workshop

Blackburn & Co Ltd are a metal fabrication company, based in Essex, specialising in manufacturing and installation of all mild steel metalwork, such as staircases, handrails, balustrades, gates and bespoke fabrications.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced site fitter who will work from our workshop, based in West Horndon, Essex and onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading from fabrication drawings
- Liaising with customer site operatives
- maintaining health and safety standards on site
- Completing projects on time and to a high standard
The Candidate:
- Must have experience in reading drawings, fabrication and site work in various aspects of metalwork, ranging from balustrade, staircases to structural steelwork.
- Must have a CSCS card
- Must have a full driving license
- Company vehicle will be kept on our premises.
- Must have their own welding mask and general hand tools.
- A self-motivated individual
- Excellent communication skills
