We are leaders in the bathroom furniture market with a share of around 33% of the total UK market and are also highly innovative. The company employs 200+ people across our Bath office/Bristol warehouse.
Our customers include major national retailers, national/regional builder’s merchants and a nationwide network of independent bathroom retailers.
Products are manufactured to our own in-house designs from sources all over the world. We have a portfolio of three in-house brands, Roper Rhodes, Tavistock and R2
We have reputation for producing some of the best imagery in the industry, which is used in our brochures, on our websites and across our social platforms. Traditionally, our lifestyle photography had been primarily still imagery but over the last few years we have also produced more and more video content.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Set Builder / Display Fitter to join our talented team at our Portbury Warehouse in Bristol. The role involves building room-sets for our photographic studio, as well as building “Point of Sale” display stands for our retail customers.
Responsibilities
- Build bathroom Photographic Sets according to instructions from our Senior Creative Producer, using your skills and the tools provided.
- Maintain a tidy and organised Photo Studio/Workshop.
- Work with our Workshop Fitter to construct “Point of Sale” displays.
- Assist in building exhibition stands for Trade Shows and Events.
- Support location photo-shoots as needed
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for a skilled Tradesman, who would ideally have previous experience of photographic set building, but who can predominantly use their skills to build room sets to display our range of Bathroom products.
- Experience with Hands-on construction using manual and power tools (Provided).
- Confident working with multiple materials and skilled in decorative techniques including tiling, flooring, wallpapering, creative set build and painting techniques
- Working knowledge of electrics and plumbing
- A can-do, flexible attitude.
- Good attention to detail to deliver a high standard of work
- Able to work as part of a team and also independently, so will need to be self-motivated.
