Job Title: Service Support Administrator

Tecalemit Garage Equipment is about to celebrate its’ hundredth birthday and is a leading supplier of equipment to garages and vehicle fleet operators.
We’re currently looking for a (full time) Service Support Administrator to join our team and help to provide effective and efficient administrative support to aid the smooth running of our Service Centre office.
The service team support both customers and our engineers; (who maintain and calibrate the equipment) as part of the ‘after sales’ process.
Suitable applicants should be able to work in a busy office environment and have excellent communication and customer service skills.
About the role:
- Receive/action requests from customers for service visits, to the customers’ satisfaction
- Ensure accurate input into the call management software for logging jobs, updates and completion
- Allocate work to service engineers, ensuring effective travel and time usage through route and job planning
- Receive/action requests from customers for spare parts
- Process customer enquiries and orders
- Receive/action requests for hire vehicles. Liaise with preferred suppliers ensuring an appropriate vehicle is sourced as required
- Ensure all vehicle changes (including hire vehicles) are recorded on the Motor Insurers Database
- Maintain details and vehicle records for the various tolls and Congestion charge accounts
- Book in vehicles for repairs, servicing & MOT
The skills we are looking for from you:
- A good organiser and communicator
- Able to multi task and prioritise
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Polite telephone manner
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to use initiative
- A reasonable geographical knowledge of the UK would be advantageous
- Previous experience in a service environment would also be useful
Benefits:
- £21,000 – £23,000 per annum depending on relevant knowledge and experience
