Salary: £11.54 per hour (£21,000 pa)
Hours: 35 Hours a week (Monday – Friday)

The Role:
SJMT is excited to introduce this new role within its extra care and Domiciliary care service.
Working alongside the Registered Manager you will support the staff team of carers to deliver high quality care that is person centred and delivered to a “good” CQC standard.
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in progressing their carer in social care and has had experience within the social care and or housing support sector.

Key things about you:
- Experience supporting individuals with care needs mainly older adults
- Experience working within housing and or care settings
- NVQ in Health and Social Care and be willing to increase this NVQ level
- Experience of care planning, incident management, and risk assessments
- To be able to manage, motivate and set a positive example to a team of staff
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work professionally with families and stakeholders
- To be able to support with effective transition of new residents and service users
- To assist with the recruitment and induction of new staff
- A want to develop and progress in social care and willing to learn management and leadership skills
- An enhanced DBS check will be taken up for successful candidates
