BLM GROUP is the world leading manufacturer of high precision and high-performance laser cutting machines, sawing machines, CNC tube bending and end-forming machines.
The Role
Please note: This role will require mobile work across the West Midlands, East Midlands and North West, but we will consider suitable candidates from other locations.
To ensure both new and existing customers get the maximum uptime and productivity from our machines (our laser cutting machines sell for between £500K and £2.5million); to provide a level of service support which exceed our customers’ expectations; to be seen in the eyes of our customers as a real expert and a friend; to liaise with our factory on technical matters including product improvement and development.
Responsibilities include
- Fault-finding and repair
- New machine installations
- Machine commissioning and training
- After-sales application support
Ideal candidate
Highly skilled and knowledgeable in:
- CNC control systems (preferably Siemens)
- Electrics
- Electronics
- Mechanics
- Hydraulics, and pneumatics
A minimum 2 years working as a field service engineer in CNC machinery (preferably: laser cutting, metal-forming, machine tools).
Minimum HND level or time served engineer.
An all-encompassing enthusiasm and expertise in all aspects of customer care.
