Job Title: Service Engineer (Field)

Salary: OTE £45k+ depending on experience

Heasell has built a reputation for fast, reliable service to all branches of industry, agriculture and commerce for over 70 years. The company’s industrial department undertakes the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment.
A separate winding department provides a comprehensive rewinding service for all types of electrical plant. The company also has separate departments for Facilities Management Companies where we can offer integration of our onsite services.
The Role/Candidate:
We require electrical/mechanical engineers who have strong industrial/commercial experience and have worked in range of different premises such as Industrial premises, Factory’s, Offices, Retail, Restaurants or Leisure Centres.
You will be working with electrical motors, pumps, air-conditioning, HVAC systems, control systems and carrying electrical installations.
Preferably be located within a 30-mile radius of the SG8 area.
Experience:
Must have a strong industrial electrical background.
- Ideally 18th Edition qualified.
- Three phase electrical and mechanical experience is preferable.
- Have an understanding of Electrical Controls, Inverters and Starters.
- A full valid UK driving license is essential for this position.
- Previous experience of working with motors/pumps.
- Adhere to customer procedures e.g. entry/exit from customer premises and adhere to all Health and Safety policies where appropriate.

- Self-motivation and personal drive to complete tasks to required timescales and quality standards.
- To take initiative, and work without close supervision.
- An inherent interest in engineering and technology solutions.
We are a reactive company offering 24/365 cover to our customer’s requirements. The successful candidate for this role must be willing to do whatever is needed to ensure that the job is completed efficiently and on time and this may include working overtime.
