We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our busy and vibrant IMT Service Desk Team.
The role involves a high level of customer contact, as the IMT Service Desk is the primary point of contact for users to report incidents, service requests and make other enquiries. You will be required to obtain appropriate and useful information from the customer via phone, face to face, email and our customer portal effectively, accurately and in a timely manner, to assist in the resolution of their request.
You will need the ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent customer service skills to support all levels of staff across NCC, Partner Organisations and suppliers. Experience of delivering 1st or 2nd Line support in an ICT environment would be preferable but not essential. An ITIL Foundation Certificate would be advantageous.
All our office-based roles are currently working from home as part of our Smarter Working plans and to support the health and safety of all our colleagues. We anticipate that working remotely will be a key feature of this role and when offices re-open your office base will be County Hall. Our technology platform and equipment are first class, enabling you to connect and collaborate remotely. We ask that you have in place good Broadband connectivity.
